ICEBREAKER

I’m from the Windy City, my first love is art (as if you didn’t know lol), and can you believe I’m allergic to peaches? What a bummer!

As a child, you’re always told to color inside the lines, and I did, but as time progressed, I started to realize art didn’t have boundaries. I’ve always loved art, no matter if it was sketching, painting, crafts, graffiti art, photography, sculpture, design or digital layouts for printing. Years ago, I received free passes to the Art Institute in Chicago, and I was completely ecstatic to see the variety of exhibits. The one display that grabbed my attention was George Seurat’s painting, “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte”. Up close you see a variety of tiny colorful dots, but as you look at the painting from a distance, there’s this beautiful landscape of people in Paris. Seurat’s technique of pointillism won me over, because he took a risk.

Today, I love creating for myself and others, bringing visions to life. Being able to plan, and create solutions are things that I’m great at. The combination of letters, symbols, or images, are elements that I use to visually communicate.

Now that you know a little about me, what’s your story? Are you ready to start this creative journey?
